Natural persons who want to cancel (revoke) a qualified certificate for electronic signature (digital certificate) of the Hellenic State Certification Authority (APA) should do one of the following:

• If the digital certificate was issued by the old infrastructure of the CADD (i.e. before 17/1/2022), then the cancellation shall take place:
  • either from the Portal ERMIS using the eight-digit version/revocation code created when the digital certificate was issued,
  • either by completing the Request for withdrawal the digital certificate and submitting it to any CCP.
• If the digital certificate has been issued by the new ADP (i.e. from 17/1/2022 onwards), then the cancellation takes place:
  • either from the APED Certificate Management Application using the eight-digit version/revocation code,
  • either by creating a solemn declaration to withdraw an electronic signature of the APRC and by submitting a withdrawal request from the APED Certificate Management Application by completing the code of the declaration on honour.
