If you are a third-country national, you can submit your application for renewal of your residence permit/residence card only online. The application may also be submitted by your attorney.

You will need:

• your mobile phone number
• your email address
• where applicable, the code of the fee paid;
• attach the required supporting documents as appropriate

If the application is submitted by a lawyer, the lawyer’s authorisation is uploaded electronically to the application of the third-country national.

Upon successful submission of the application, you receive in your email:

• proof of application
• document serving as an attestation within the meaning of Article 9 (4) of Law 4251/2014 (‘Blue Certificate’)

The authentication of the details of the attestation is done by searching in Electronic File File of Third Country .

This certificate shall automatically cease to be valid if a decision granting your residence permit or a decision rejecting your application is issued.

Then, and exclusively by email, you will receive:

• notification of taking your biometric data
• notification of your decision
