You can apply for an exemption from the obligation to fulfil your military obligation if you are the only or the oldest son of parents who have died and have at least one unmarried, minor or unmarried and incapacitated brother or sister for each job.

When you apply

• if you are a soldier – anytime after your classification
• if you are a dead/deserving officer – after your desertion or desertion has been interrupted

You will need:

• personal Taxisnet credentials.
• municipal certificate for military use showing your marital status and a court decision in the event of recognition of a child.
