You can request the postponement of your classification in the Armed Forces if you are legally outside the Armed Forces classes and the date you are required to classify, either:

1. to the United Nations (UN) in the capacity of Secretary-General, Assistant Secretary-General or official
2. in a specialised organisation as executive head and deputy official.

When you apply:

The supporting documents shall be submitted between the issue of the invitation order and the date of classification in the Armed Forces. If later submitted, the deferral is granted if the conditions existed on the date of ranking.

You will need:

• your Taxisnet passwords
• certification/attestation: the competent Greek Consular Authority (for service abroad) or the competent department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (for an internal service)
