You may request the postponement of your registration in the Armed Forces if you have acquired Greek nationality under any provision of the Greek Citizenship Code or on the basis of any other provision requiring your will.

When you apply

At any time after the date of acquisition of Greek citizenship and until the date of classification determined by the date on which it was acquired. If the application is submitted later, the deferral is granted and lasts for one year from the date of your registration in the male register.

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials
• decision on entry in the registers of men showing the legal basis for acquiring Greek citizenship
