You can request the postponement of your classification in the Armed Forces if you are appointed or registered for medical specialty in a legally competent hospital in Greece or abroad that uses internationally known language.

When you apply:

The supporting documents shall be submitted by the date on which you are required to be classified in the Armed Forces due to the end or interruption of your legal stay outside the Armed Forces. If submitted at a later date, the deferral shall be granted only if the conditions existed on the date of classification.

You will need:

• personal passwords to TAXISnet
• certifications or certificates showing that the hospital (clinic, hospital, laboratory) has been recognised as a specialist medical establishment by the Ministry of Health if it is domestic or by the competent department of the foreign State if it is abroad.
