You can issue an extract of your birth certificate for you or your minor children.

You will need your personal Taxisnet credentials.

Certificates of civil status issued by:

• from 2013 onwards
• previously and changed and/or for which an extract was issued from 2018 onwards
• from 22/1/2018 onwards and relating to events committed abroad and declared by the Special Civil Registry of Athens

Second edition via KEP/Municipality

All extracts and complete civil-status documents, regardless of the year they were issued, are available via an electronic application in any KEP or in the civil registry of the municipality where the event occurred, but in a second year.

Once the civil status certificate has been issued by the KEP/Municipality, this will be sent to the Citizen Vault you will be informed by email and text message (sms). For these cases, please select “Application to KEP/Municipality”.

Alternatively, you have the option to book a digital appointment at the myKEPlive to be served by an official of the Citizens’ Service Centres (PSCs) via videoconference.
