Greek citizens who, on the day of parliamentary elections, elections to the European Parliament or on the day of a national referendum, are permanently or temporarily outside Greece, may vote, provided that:

• you have an active right to vote
• you are registered on the electoral roll
• enrol on the special electoral roll abroad

In order to be registered on the special electoral roll abroad, you must:

• have spent a total of 2 years in Greece over the last 35 years from the date of submission of the application
• have submitted a tax return in the current or previous tax year
