Wine producers can deliver part of your wine in tanks for distillation under the wine distillation programme.

Before submitting the application, you should declare wine stocks to the digital service ‘Production/Stock/Processing Declaration – Wine Marketing’.

For the application, you will need the corporate Taxisnet credentials and the following supporting documents:

• winery operating licence
• establishment of a juridical person for juridical persons or commencement of business for natural persons
• certificate of legal representative
• a valid and active bank account number (IBAN) in the name of the wine-making enterprise
• distilling contract
• wine certificate from the competent Directorate for Rural Economy and Veterinary Medicine in the case of PDO and PGI wine
• mixing protocol with alcohol of vegetable origin
• wine analysis report, if any
• solemn declaration that you do not cease production activity and will not close the business in the next 2 years
• A form for calculating the distance in kilometre from the place where the wine is stored to the premises of the category B distillery (you may issue it using the digital service ‘Calculation of the kilometre’).

The relevant administrative and on-the-spot checks will then be carried out by the competent services.
