If you want to sell your private vehicle you can fully digitalise the process of transferring ownership without having to go physically to any public service.

Conditions:

1. Be the seller as well as the buyer.
2. Transfer 100 % of the ownership of your private vehicle (passenger and/or two-wheeler), that your vehicle is moving and that there are no road tax debts.
3. There must be a valid Technical Inspection Bulletin (KTEO) or the vehicle is not yet obliged to issue a Technical Inspection Bulletin (for vehicles under four (4) years old).
4. No retention of ownership of the vehicle or if there is more than 7 years from the date of registration to you.
5. Do not have any of the comment codes (003, 004, 005, 008, 023, 024, 030, 037, 039, 048, 064, 080, 084, 090, 092, 093, 097, 128, 133, 134, 135, 176, 178, 179, 182) registered on the marketing authorisation.
6. There must be no other ongoing application for the vehicle concerned.

1. The seller selects the vehicle that he wants to transfer and the conditions required for the continuation of the procedure are checked automatically from the application.
2. It selects the Transport Directorate of the Region to which the application is to be sent and registers the purchaser’s TIN.
3. The buyer receives information by sms and email to enter the app, accept the transaction and indicate whether he/she or his representative will receive the new marketing authorisation.
4. Buyer and seller, upon completion of the request, receive automatically at Citizen Vault certificate of request and fulfilment of the conditions for the transfer of ownership of the vehicle bearing its security features gov.gr . With this certificate, the purchaser may insure and move within Greek territory the vehicle to be transferred for a period of thirty (30) days.
5. The purchaser comes to the Transport Directorate of the Region which was declared in the application for the new registration certificate by submitting:

• Current registration of the vehicle (completed and signed by both)
• Proof of payment of the licence fee and transfer fee for the vehicle.

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials (after registering in National Communication Register (NEC) to confirm your mobile phone number)
• the TIN of the buyer (refers to the seller)
