You can request the renewal of your Greek driving licence when it has already expired or will expire in the next two months.

You need to:

• fill in your personal Taxisnet credentials
• download your photo and specimen of your signature
• issue and pay the appropriate fee
• know your TIN and AMKA
• your e-mail
• your mobile phone number

The process is completed in steps:

A. Medical examination procedure

• when you enter the application, you are assigned a four-digit number (PIN) and you will be informed of the specialisations of doctors requiring examination.
• visit doctors, and provide them with your four-digit number (PIN), your TIN and AMKA
• upon completion of the medical examination, the application is automatically updated.
• the same procedure is repeated with the same code number (PIN) for all other doctors required
• if you are deemed fit by all doctors, you are informed by the application by sms and email that you can complete your application within (6) months of the doctors’ certificates

B. Completion of application

• you should upload the prescribed photograph and file with your scanned physical signature

C. Receipt of a new licence

• select how to receive the new driving licence form
• the licence will be received by you or your authorised representative from the Region, by issuing the old driving licence.

In all steps, the application informs you by email and SMS.
