Organic farmers can request authorisation to use non-organic seeds by way of derogation.
Your authorisation will be granted if:
the variety of the species you want is not registered in the Ministry’s electronic biological propagating material base. Rural Development and Food
you can prove that none of the other registered varieties of the same plant species are suitable for your production
No supplier is able to deliver the seed or potato tubers for planting before sowing or planting to your areas
the variety you want is used for small-scale field research and trials or for the conservation of a variety

You need to:

• fill in your personal Taxisnet credentials
• fill in your personal details (1th time)
• fill in the application form
• attach the required supporting documents (see them in the application form)
• select the mode of receipt

Upon submission, you will receive an e-mail containing the details of your application (reference number and application file) and the contact details of the competent regional directorate.

You will then be informed by e-mail of the result of the application and the document will be sent to you as you have chosen.

Today, the service is provided for the South Aegean Region. Other regions will gradually join.
