Owners of professional fishing vessels may apply for a decision of the competent regional directorate to renew your vessel’s professional fishing licence if you have not renewed your licence to a port authority in good time.
You should first visit the competent port authority where you will request confirmation of the characteristics of your vessel.

Late renewal of a vessel’s licence shall be permitted only if:
there were reasons of force majeure or specific circumstances which prevented its renewal in good time.
no more than two (2) consecutive periods with a duration of (2) years have elapsed since its expiry date.

You need to:

• fill in your personal Taxisnet credentials
• fill in your personal details (1th time)
• fill in the application form
• attach the required supporting documents (see them in the application form)
• select the mode of receipt

Upon submission, you will receive an e-mail containing the details of your application (reference number and application file) and the contact details of the competent regional directorate.

You will then be informed by e-mail of the result of the application and the document will be sent to you as you have chosen.

Today, the service is provided for the South Aegean Region. Other regions will gradually join.
