You can apply for an initial sailor’s licence, after examination, as long as you are between 18 and 60 years old.

When you apply:
Up to five calendar days before the date of the examinations.

They will need to:

• fill in your personal Taxisnet credentials
• please provide your email address
• please attach the necessary supporting documents

Once the completeness of the supporting documents has been checked, you will be sent an email informing you of your participation in the examination procedure.

You will receive it either by e-mail or by registered mail. You can also view the status of your application by clicking on “My requests”.
