ATLAS supports the internship process and links the country's academic institutions with the organisations offering internship positions (companies, organisations, non-governmental organisations, etc.) in a single, centralised system.

The internship process is becoming simpler and more efficient, considering that:

• equal access is provided to all institutions and students, and to all companies and organisations
• the positions are listed once and are made automatically available to all institutions and departments selected by each institution
• the institutions can search for positions and assign them to students
• the students themselves can find the internship placements they want
